#9A1 Bird Box Project

LO1 To show an understanding of technical terminology / concepts that arise from your investigation
LO2 To investigate and select suitable techniques to address the Eco School system

Learning Outcomes:



  • With Mr Watson's input you  have started to research  at least one solution to the Bird Box Eco Project and can explain how this may work verbally - and use technical terminology
  • You have started to  research  at least one solution and are documenting  this on your blog
  • You have started to research  and are weighing  up the pros and cons of more than one solution and documented these on your blog. 

Starter - QR code. Scan the code. What's your Starter?  If you don't have a QR code reader - what can you work out from this? 




Main


  • What does the google doc mean?  How will you use it?  Which section are we working on today? 
  • Continue to develop your solution, with Mr Watson's help discuss how your solution may work.  
  • On your Blog - document your progress - you need to show evidence or it can't be marked.
  • Show the development stages of your system (print screen and annotate to say what you are doing and WHY - discuss decisions you make)
  • Give technical terminology / concepts (like key words) and say what these mean and why they're important
  • Discuss alternative solutions - weigh up the pros and cons 

  • Review - what do you understand better now than 30 minutes ago.  What progress are planning to make in the remainder of the lesson? How well are you doing in relation to our Learning Objectives?  Red, Amber or Green


Plenary - blog - look at the outcomes - Red, Amber and Green - where are you - what do you need to do next lesson in order to progress with your system?
