9m1 Trends in Computing - Assessment

LO to assess and act on feedback in order to improve my work, in order to reach my target grade

Intro:

What's the difference between Identify, Describe, Explain? What might this have to do with our coursework? 

Teach:

  • Homework last lesson was to complete your presentation, ready for assessment.
  • Load up the peer assessment document in google classroom.
  • Load up your actual presentation
  • What makes effective feedback? 

20 minutes:  As a friend to sensibly peer assess your presentation against the given criteria and offer them constructive feedback to improve their marks.

Apply:  

  • Act on the feedback to make the relevant changes
  • Rework your presentation so that it looks professional and appropriate for your audience (an examiner, not a mate!)

Homework. Continue to make changes based on the feedback, against the marking criteria, so that your presentation is the best it can be ready for assessment!  Due Weds 14th December (which is when I'll be marking them!)
